To be able to start conversations with referrers, you first need to make sure that the referrer has first been invited to connect with your practice. You can confirm this by going to the referrer's profile and viewing the system access section.
To start a conversation with a client's referrer regarding a client, go to caseload on the left navigation menu and select the client. Then go to the client's chart on the left navigation menu.
Click on the + Add Chart Item button at the top right of the page.
Select start conversation from the chart item listing.
Enter the subject of the conversation and then the content of the message you'd like to send. You can optionally attach any files to the conversation by clicking add attachment. Once done, click the send button to send the conversation to the referrer. They will be emailed the conversation immediately. You will no be able to track this conversation and any replies from the referrer.
